At Bolton Valley, we consider ourselves lucky to reside in such a great slopeside neighborhood. Our backyard is a 5,000 acre playground buried in 300 inches of annual snowfall with a snowmaking system to lend a hand when Mother Nature needs a breather. Enjoy 300 acres of alpine terrain, three terrain parks, and over 1100 acres of Nordic and backcountry trails, glades and at truly affordable prices.
Located just 30 minutes from both Burlington and Montpelier, Vermont, Bolton Valley is set amidst Vermont's most spectacular Green Mountain vistas. We have the highest base elevation of any Vermont ski resort, which means we get more snow, more often. In addition to skiing and riding from our 3,150-foot summit, Bolton Valley offers unparalleled backcountry and Nordic skiing and snowshoeing on 100 kilometers of trails. We light up for night skiing and riding on 10 trails, served by four lifts every Tuesday through Saturday night until 10 pm. The western facing slopes allow you to watch the sunset over the Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks as you ski into the night.
Bolton Valley offers slopeside lodging ranging from hotel rooms to condominiums all conveniently located within an easy walk of the lifts. We offer many dining experiences to suit your mood. James Moore Tavern is located on the top floor of the Base Lodge. This cozy Pub offers a great view, a warm fireplace, and live entertainment. Other choices include Fireside Flatbread, Bolton Valley Deli, Poolside Lounge, South of Solitude, the Mountainside Cafe and the Waffle Cabin.
Bolton Valley is home to a plethora of fun and exciting winter activities and events for the whole family. Adult lift tickets are priced as low as $19.66 on Mondays and for night skiing starting at 4pm. Check out our ski and stay packages for special deals on family ski vacations.
