Fresh, stylish Killington lodging with fireplace/Jacuzzi options, Vermont farm-to-table breakfasts and dining…plus fireside tavern with a plentiful wine cellar make Red Clover Inn
& Restaurant both a haven and hub for foodies; ski, golf, hiking, biking, art and foliage enthusiasts; and destination weddings. A mountain farm inn with views on all sides and tucked off the main beat on its own private road, you’d never guess Red Clover is right at the cross-roads of Central Vermont within minutes of Killington and Pico’s best skiing, golf, biking and hiking and Rutland’s Paramount Theatre, art galleries and year-round farmers’ market . Whether you come for a brief getaway or an extended vacation, a Vermont wedding or an intimate elopement, you’ll be planning your next visit to The Red Clover Inn before you’re even out the door.
: Beautifully restored and freshly decorated in 2009, Red Clover Inn accommodations feature a wide selection of lodging and bed & breakfast options with views of the surrounding hills and mountains. All 13 rooms have a private bath and queen beds, and many have fireplaces and/or Jacuzzis. The Inn’s Great Room has a fireplace and mountain views, and is filled with games, books, a large flat screen TV/DVD player, a film library and ample space to gather.
& Tavern: Vermont is famous internationally as a food and dining destination and Red Clover Inn & Restaurant and our local farm partners in turn showcase premier Vermont farm-to-table dining. We have a close relationship with our area farmers and purveyors, selecting from-the-farm fresh meats, produce, game and dairy products for Red Clover's seasonally inspired menus. Menus change regularly to accommodate what’s locally available; please call 802-775-2290 for reservations.
Monthly wine dinners
: On the first Friday of every month, our chef creates a unique menu or series of tastings based on the unique flavors of a selected region and the freshest local Vermont ingredients, designed to perfectly complement the featured wines. “Food plays an important role in our enjoyment of wine,” said Innkeeper Annie Kuehl. “Wines are paired with both the expected regional specialties and ‘surprise’ tastes that enhance the flavors found in the wines. We’re looking forward to sharing these special events with our neighbors.” Tickets for each event can be purchased at The Red Clover Inn, by emailing or calling 802-775-2290. Wine event packages that include overnight stays and weekend getaways are also available.
