About Us
The Vermont Hospitality Council (VHC), a division of the Vermont Chamber of Commerce, is dedicated to marketing, education, and advocacy for the state's tourism industry.
The VHC, a non-profit 501 c-6, represents members in the lodging, restaurant, attractions and recreation businesses, and works to promote these businesses for the well-being of the Vermont economy. The VHC also manages the Vermont Attractions Association and partners with several Vermont State agencies to promote tourism.
The VHC organizes statewide monthly food safety classes in ServSafe, the National Restaurant Association's industry standard certification program. Each restaurant that is a member of the VHC is automatically a member of the National Restaurant Association. Hotels that are VHC members are eligible to join the American Hotels & Lodging Association at an additional fee.
