In the 1800s, water power, sand and marble grew a small marble shop into the mighty Vermont Marble Company. Discover why Vermont's marble is found in buildings and monuments nationwide. Experience history: Hall of Presidents, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, educational movie. Daily activities: learn carving, explore geology in "Earth Alive" room. Open mid May through mid October. Admission is $7.00/person, Children under 18 are free, and Senior Citizens are $5.00/each.
